Hi, I’m Becca! I’m the groomer at The Colorful Canine, and I own this family run business with my mom Barb and my grandmother Vicki. I have always loved all animals, but especially dogs. I love learning as much as I can about all the different breeds. You would have a hard time finding a dog breed that I don’t have knowledge on. I currently have Poet, my standard poodle and Domino, our foster fail Border Collie. Growing up , I’ve also had Dobermans, German Shepards and Pugs. One of my favorite things to do is help friends/family decide on which breed is going to be the best fit for their family and lifestyle. I’m an avid fan of studying dog breed personalities and genetic traits. I’ve been grooming and training dogs since 2017.

One of the unique aspects of my grooms is that I incorporate behavior modification. This means that if your dog hates having his/her feet touched, our first groom may not include a nail trim. I want your dog to be comfortable, unstressed and confident at their grooming appointment. By incorporating the behavior modification aspect, I am able to keep your dog’s stress level to a minimum and ensuring your dog’s experience is something they will want to repeat in the future.
